Cheryl Lynn Broome

Cheryl Lynn Cunningham Broome, 65, of Dadeville passed away on January 3, 2026 in Dadeville, Alabama surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Cheryl was born on March 20, 1960, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She later moved with her family to Opelika and was a 1978 graduate of Opelika High School.

She is survived by her sons, James Broome, Troy (Michelle) Broome; sisters, Denise (Larry) Harrington, Debra Petiprin, Pam Killian; brother, Feron (Sandy) Keith; grandchildren, Dalton Broome, Tarra Goodson, Dakota Griffin, Blaze Caldwell, Dylan Dunn, Olivia Broome, Brock Colburn, Emma Thompson, Abel Jones, Zeppelin Caldwell, Gavin Broome.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Hughes Cunningham Keith; father, Alvie Ray Cunningham; stepfather, Troy Lee Keith; brother Denise Ray Cunningham; sister, Regina L Ward.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Legacy Ministries, 664 Still Woods Drive, Dadeville, Alabama 36853, on Sunday, March 1st, from 1 to 4 pm.
