David Franklin Hill, 66, of New Site, Alabama. Passed away at home on July 31, 2026. He was born in Alexander City, Alabama to Louezelle Mask Hill and David Ray Hill.

David had a hard life which only got harder after being orphaned. He was able to pull himself up by his boot-straps and provide an excellent life for his children. He worked at Russell Mill #6 for 35 years until NAFTA killed his livelihood.

David Hill was a loving, selfless, and nurturing father and grandfather. He could fix anything and was always there for his family. There was always love in Daddy's hands.

He is survived by his son Joshua Hill (Kaci), his daughter Robbin Hill, grandchildren, Kaleb Hill, Allison Gable (Ricky), Kevin Moore Jr., Larkin Moore, and great-grandson Clark Gable.

David was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Hill, brother James Cooley, and special cousin Carl Johns.

If I could do things over, I'd live my life again and never take for granted the love in daddy's hands.
