David E. Moore

David E. Moore, age 71, of New Site, Alabama, passed away on May 2, 2026.

David was born on April 21, 1955, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Berford and Inez Moore. He lived a life of faith and service, and he was a devoted pastor at Lebanon Baptist Church, where he touched many lives through his ministry and compassion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Moore; his son, David L. Moore (Kathryn Ann); and his cherished grandchildren, Brittany Moore and Brendon Moore. He is also survived by his siblings, Eula Mae Williamson, Frances Moore, Debra Thompson (Jim), and Arnold Moore (Wanda), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Berford and Inez Moore; his son, Chad Eric Moore; and his siblings, Eleanor Moore, Cleveland Moore, Hubert Moore, Jerry Moore, Bobby Moore, James Moore, and Jeff Carlton Moore.

A visitation will be held on May 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lake Martin Funeral Home, 16797 Highway 280, Dadeville, Alabama. A celebration of life service will be held on May 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church, 8413 Dudleyville Road, Dadeville, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in David’s memory.

David will be remembered for his strong faith, his dedication to his church, and the love he shared with his family and community.
