Dora Jean Haggerty

Dora Jean Lee Haggerty passed away at her home in Jacksons Gap, Alabama surrounded by her loved ones on June 11, 2025, at the age of 76.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Haggerty; sons, Tony Pitts, Jeff (Brandi) Pitts, daughter Brenda (Walter) Hartley; grandchildren, Tiffany (Adam) Evers, Haley (Justin) Bishop, Christopher Moore, BJ Moore, Amy Grace Pitts, Tyler Russell, Camden Russell, Noah, Allison Pitts, David Pitts, Riley Pitts; great grandchildren; Kiley, Kaydence, Sophie, Sadie, Pryde, Aiden, Noah, Bradley, Layton, Penny & Maddox; brother, Earl (Christine) Watkins and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Berna Lynch; father, Elbert Watkins; sister, Patsy Peppers; daughters, Penny Russell and Michelle King.

Her wish was to be cremated; the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
