Keith Wayne Logan, 91, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on April 21, 2026.

Keith Wayne Logan, known affectionately as “Logan,” lived a long and meaningful life marked by service, strength, and dedication. He grew up in his younger years in the Goodwater, Alabama area, where his roots helped shape the values and character he carried throughout his life.

He proudly served his country as a Chief in the United States Navy for over 27 years. During his distinguished military career, he was part of the Bay of Pigs Invasion, reflecting his courage and commitment to duty. He also spent many years stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, a place closely tied to his naval service and experiences. His time in the Navy remained a lifelong source of pride.

He was the son of Raymond Logan and Ruth Inez LeCroy Logan, whose guidance and support helped shape the man he became.

Beyond his military service, Logan was known for his quiet strength, wisdom, and steady presence. He loved working outside, spending time with his beloved pets, and enjoyed going to auctions, where he was known for working “the art of the deal” and finding hidden treasures. These simple pleasures brought him great happiness throughout his life. He touched the lives of many through his kindness and character, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his nieces, Martha East, Nancy Rhodes and her husband John, Charlotte Bush and Sharon Freeman, as well as cousins, additional nieces and nephews, and other family members and loved ones. He was honored to wear the title of “Uncle Log” to Dana and Todd Harrelson and their girls, Marlie and Macie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Logan and Ruth Inez LeCroy Logan; his wife, Ruth Logan; his sister, Evie Taunton; and his brother, Charles Logan.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

Keith Wayne Logan will be remembered for his honorable service, his enduring strength, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
