Mary Helen Forbus Griffith, affectionately known as “Helen,” age 69, of Dadeville, Alabama, passed away on April 9, 2026, at Adams Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexander City, Alabama. She was born on December 30, 1956, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Lake Martin Funeral Home & Cremation, 16797 Hwy 280, Dadeville, Alabama.

Helen was known for her strong work ethic in the automotive manufacturing industry. She also had a passion for fancy cars and enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her sons, James (Mary B) Griffith and Rob Griffith; her grandchildren, Ambria Jones, Jacari Hall, Jordan Griffith, Tyreke Stone, Je’mya Allen, and Megan Spraggins; and her great-grandchildren, Keagan Russell, Kaigan Colvin, Amir Lewis, Casyn Riden, Makenzie Spraggins, and Lakelynn Spraggins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert Forbus and Billie Forbus.
