Thurston M. Mann

Thurston M Mann, 76, of Camp Hill, Alabama was born in Elmore County, Alabama on February 22, 1949, to the Late Clara and Mitchell Mann. He passed away on October 24, 2025, at home surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his three children; Colvard M. Mann (Brigitta), Billy J. Mann (Heather), Tawanna M. Mann; sisters, Claire Hinkle, Faye Warren; his long-time love, Shirley Hartley and her children, his bonus children, Beth Hartley Patterson (Jeremy), Allen “Bubba” Hartley (Allison); 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins along with a host of other family and loved ones.

Thurston worked in the timber industry for most of his life and loved being in the woods. He was always working on something and barely ever slept when he was repairing things for himself or friends. He loved helping others. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 27, 2025, at Saugahatchee Assembly of God, 14521 Highway 49 South, Camp Hill, Alabama 36850. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the service starting at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the service in the Saugahatchee Assembly of God cemetery. Brother Danny Rogers will be officiating.
