“William Warner (Bill) Huddleston Jr., age 86, of Dadeville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 15, 2026, with his daughter by his side.

William was born on September 1, 1940, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late William Warner Huddleston Sr. and Willie-Bee Huddleston.

Mr. Huddleston was a dedicated employee of Uniroyal, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring. He was a hardworking man who could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bill had a love for woodworking and gardening, especially enjoying time spent working alongside his beloved wife, Maxcine.

Those who knew Bill will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make others laugh. He was a true jokester, a talented handyman, and, above all, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was the pride and joy of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

To his family, he was simply the best Dad and Papa.

Mr. Huddleston is survived by his daughter, Staci (Mike) McCullers; daughter-in-law, Kaye Huddleston; grandchildren, Nicki (Ryan) Powell, Katie (Brandon) Mushunje, Turner (Carly) Huddleston, Kaitlyn McCullers (Jake), and Slade (Adena) McCullers; and his great-grandchildren, Emri, Ana Loryn, Alex, Hudson, Whitt, Bronx, Brayken, Briggs, Brixie-Rain, Brogan, Broughton, Shona, Luke, Elijah, Tracy-Faith, and William Banks.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynda Maxcine Huddleston; his son, Tracy Todd Huddleston; his brother, Dewy Huddleston; his sister, Louise; and his parents, William Warner Huddleston Sr. and Willie-Bee Huddleston.

Bill leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish his laughter, his kindness, his helping hands, and the love he so freely gave. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love him.”
