Zoe Ann Rhodes

Zoe Ann Rhodes, born September 29, 1954, entered eternal rest with our Lord on May 28, 2025.

She passed away at home surrounded by her family. Zoe was born in Atlanta, GA. and settled in New Orleans, LA with her family when her father retired from the military. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a mother and raised two children in Kenner, LA. As her children were becoming young adults Zoe went back to school and became an LPN. As Zoe’s life continued to evolve, she went on to marry Steve Rhodes and moved to Dadeville, AL. There she continued her education and fulfilled her dream of becoming an RN and living in the country. She and Steve shared a very special and loving life together on Lake Martin for 25 years. All through her life Zoe courageously fought health issues. She didn’t let it stop her from living a full and loving life.

Zoe is preceded in death by her parents Paul Allen and Marie Hingle Hontz.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Steve Rhodes, her son Raymond Evans (Melissa), daughter Amy Evans, her grandchildren Chase Evans, Patrick and Lillian York, Emily and Maddy Evans, and Greyson Martijn. She also leaves behind her loving sisters Paula Eiserloh (Doug) and Ruth Duplessis (Raymond) and a host of extended family and friends. Zoe had a loving spirit and touched everyone she encountered.

Zoe will forever be missed and loved but not forgotten.
